JOB TITLE: VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING

REPORTS TO: CHIEF OF OPERATIONS

Live Action is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President (VP) of Marketing to create and execute start-to-finish innovative marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, performance, and activism. The VP brings experience in building effective teams, developing winning strategies, and bringing to market new products. They are well versed in traditional marketing methods but also bring innovative ideas to the table. The VP plays a critical role in shaping Live Action’s marketing vision and establishing our brand as a leading voice.
 

The VP of Marketing must be committed to and aligned with Live Action’s pro-life mission and inspired to do the best work of her/his life. This position offers potential for growth and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, growing and highly productive team. 

The VP of Marketing’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy to enable successful campaigns.
  • Conduct research to identify trends and opportunities.
  1. Brand Development and Positioning:
  • Define and strengthen the company's brand identity and positioning.
  • Ensure brand consistency and maintain unified messaging across all platforms.
  • Oversee the development of marketing collateral, website/social media content, and other promotional materials.
  1. Digital Marketing:
  • Drive the digital marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Monitor all marketing-related analytics and leverage data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of industry best practices.
  • Manage regular reporting. 
  1. Team Leadership and Management:
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture within the marketing department.
  • Set clear goals and performance metrics for the team and monitor progress regularly.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of marketing leadership experience.
  • Proven experience as a VP of Marketing or a similar leadership role in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices across traditional and digital channels.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data and insights to make informed marketing decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and technologies.
